When a driver goes down, so does the shipment. We keep both moving.
Somewhere between Mombasa and the Ugandan border, a trucker with an undiagnosed condition keeps driving because stopping means missing a delivery and missing pay. North Star Alliance exists because we stopped accepting that trade-off. Our Blue Box clinics sit exactly where he already stops: the border, the port, the transit town.

Our project with North Star Alliance ensures that the health and safety needs of professional drivers and other road users are met. Professional drivers are critical to the distribution of goods, and it’s important they have access to the necessary services they need to stay healthy, plus information which will help them to operate safely in their roles.
I recognised the Blue Boxes from the roadside, but the first one I entered was at the port gate. The health services they offer us drivers are very good. Without them, we would go without.
